Pay only for what you actually use

Almost every dating app charges everyone the same: a monthly subscription that unlocks messaging, plus a shop of extras that let you jump the queue in their own algorithm. It's a comfortable model for whoever collects the money and a frustrating one for whoever pays it, because the month runs down whether anything happens or not, and the fee makes no distinction between the person getting a hundred messages and the person getting none.

The split here is different, and it's worth saying plainly. Women buy visibility: for the days or months the plan lasts, their profile is featured in the listing. Men buy contact unlocks: each unlock reveals one specific person's details, is charged once, and is never charged again if they come back to that same profile later.

Signing up, completing a profile and browsing the community costs nothing, and there's no free trial counting down to a charge. Creating a men's account includes a handful of free unlocks — enough to find out whether the platform makes sense in your city before you spend anything.

There's also no mandatory subscription to talk, and no silent auto-renewal: each purchase is one-off and simply runs out. A month you don't use is a month you don't pay for. That strikes us as the honest way to charge for something that, if it works properly, you should stop needing.
